The Milwaukee Business Journal has chosen five Milwaukee-area executives as its 2023 CMO of the Year winners, while at the same time selecting five area finance professionals as its CFO of the Year winners.
Joshua Albrecht, vice president of marketing and communications for Visit Milwaukee; Bridget Kraus, vice president of marketing for Walbec Group; and Jeff McCarthy, senior vice president and marketing director for Bank Five Nine, are among the Milwaukee Business Journal's 2023 Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the Year winners.
Nathan Colson, executive vice president and chief financial officer for MGIC Investment Corp.; Angie Edwards, chief financial officer for HGA; and Justin Fehrman, chief financial officer for The Russ Darrow Group, are among the Milwaukee Business Journal's 2023 CFO of the Year winners.

The Milwaukee Business Journal has chosen five Milwaukee-area executives as its 2023 CMO of the Year winners, while at the same time selecting five area finance professionals as its CFO of the Year winners.
The CMO of the Year and CFO of the Year awards programs are part of the C-Suite Stars awards. The C-Suite Stars honors top chief financial officers, chief marketing officers, HR directors and top corporate counsels. In addition, we will honor the 2023 Milwaukee Business Journal Executive of the Year and four other executives, who will receive honorable mention.
This awards program features a section that will profile Milwaukee-area chief financial officers or heads of finance and chief marketing officers who are making a difference within their companies or organizations. The program is designed to recognize the important work marketing professionals and CFOs do in making southeast Wisconsin firms successful.
We received many nominations for each program, with the winners being chosen by Milwaukee Business Journal editors based on accomplishments in the office and work in the community. The awards will be presented during an event on Dec. 7. The winners will be profiled in the Dec. 8 issue of the Milwaukee Business Journal.
We will announce the winners of the HR Awards and Top Corporate Counsel on our website Thursday and in our Nov. 3 issue.
